A qualified mountain leader, rock-climbing instructor, canoe coach and sailing instructor, he has led expeditions all over the world from canoeing deep into the Amazon to leading groups trekking along the Headhunters’ Trail in the impenetrable jungle of Borneo and across the Atlas Mountains in North Africa. He has many years of experience in the adventure travel industry planning commercial trips and expeditions across the globe and was a qualified medic and swiftwater rescue technician in the Lake District Mountain Rescue service for several years. When not leading groups on adventures, Tom loves nothing more than spending time in the great outdoors, introducing his kids to a world of adventurous opportunity.
